Maya Luna Guevara
BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM DOULA
I am a birth companion and postpartum doula who offers compassionate and grounded care.
As a queer latina with a background in community organizing, I recognize and uplift the many ways that our communities create family. Queer and trans, Black and brown, immigrant and second generation, single parent, partnered, poly, intergenerational... our families are sacred in this world, and deserve to be held with sweetness and care. I believe in supporting the whole person - meeting people where they are with an open heart and respect for each individual’s needs and desires.
My passion for advocacy, autonomy, systems transformation, justice, and liberation are woven into my work supporting birthing people. I also bring deep listening, movement, breath, and grounding, and a strong connection to the earth.

Jocelyn Araujo
BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM DOULA
My name is Jocelyn Araujo, I’m a bilingual Spanish-speaking birth & postpartum doula. I’m also a nutrition and holistic health expert that helps individuals cultivate a nourishing, trusting, peaceful and relaxed relationship with food and their body via holistic care.
During my third pregnancy, I decided to hire a doula, this is when I realized that every birth parent deserves to be cared for. This experience allowed me to look at birth and postpartum care differently.
My mission is to educate, inform and help birth parents advocate for themselves so they feel empowered during their birth and postpartum period.
All while providing a safe and sacred space with dignity and love.

Joelsy Gonzalez
BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM DOULA
Joelsy is a birth and postpartum doula supporting families in New York City and Westchester County. For her, pregnancy and reproductive justice is a very personal issue; due to a traumatic experience during her first birth. Since then, she has dedicated herself to helping pregnant people so that their experience does not happen again. For Joelsy, it is essential to respect and honor the rights of pregnant people. Joelsy believes that all pregnant people deserve to receive evidence-based information and a humanized delivery.
Joelsy did her Doula Mentoring and Lactation Counseling at Manhattan Birth. She earned a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and is in the process of becoming a Registered Nurse.

Chatequa Campbell
BIRTH AND POSTPARTUM DOULA
Chatequa aka Cam here! Before my call to birth work I was an Early Childhood Special Educator with over 13 years of experience. This is where my nickname Cam was born. I love all things babies, young children, and supporting families. My love for children and supporting families led me straight to birth work. My life’s passion has always been to empower and uplift folks who look like me and those who are marginalized. In the birth worker realm, this looks like ensuring that birthing people have equitable care, that they feel autonomous, informed, listened to and heard throughout their birthing experience. Everyone deserves to have optimal birth outcomes especially Black and Brown folks. Our lives matter and this is why doula support is so imperative. I want your birthing experience to be one that is celebratory and that feels like a warm hug–supportive, calming, loving, and safe.
As your doula, I will be with you every step of the way. It is my intention that you feel safe, supported & educated throughout your journey. I want you to show up as your authentic self. I take my cues from you and work with you to help your birth and postpartum goals come to fruition.
